Basic Pancake Recipe

While I try to post recipes that are health conscience, sometimes you just want to indulge with a simple, quick basic recipe. These pancakes are no exception.

Give them a try, they're pretty great; a lot better than those boxed pancake mix!

Ingredients

Dry

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 - 1.5 tablespoons sugar
Wet
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 whole egg
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Directions
  1. Mix your dry ingredients together
  2. Mix your wet ingredients
  3. Mix your wet into your dry ingredients
  4. Let sit for 15 min (important for puffy pancakes)
  5. Take your non-stick skillet and pour some batter, flip when you start seeing little bubbles popping through the top layer of the pancake
