It's A Bird, It's A Plane....It's SUPERFOODS.

In the coming weeks, I plan to post short articles on SUPERFOOD. Much like what I did for my posts on protein, these will be posts each focusing on superfoods that you maybe want to include in you diet.

The superfood term is not in common use by dieticians and nutrition scientists, many of whom dispute that particular foods have the health benefits often claimed by advocates of particular superfoods. However, some define 'superfood' as a food that is considered to be very good for your health and that may even help some medical conditions. The Oxford Dictionary definition states a superfood is “a nutrient-rich food considered to be especially beneficial for health and well-being”.

A few examples of superfoods are:

  • Chlorella
  • Spirulina
  • Cacao
  • Coconut
  • Mangosteen
  • Maca

So beginning soon, I'll be sharing my limited knowledge on superfoods as well as posting links where you can buy the best quality superfoods online.
